My name is Danny Akers and I live in Eastern Kentucky in the Appalachian Mountians. I have a great respect for my heritage and feel that I richly filled with traditions. I am decended from two Scottish Highland clans? both the Hamilton and the Campbell clans. I also have a Irish blood in my line. This comes from the Bailey name for old Irish and the Lewis name which Welch Irish. Akers and all the rest are British, Lowland Scots. These Poems were written for my beautiful wife Benita Lynn. They are dedicated to her and express my feelings of our romance.
